Senior Fellows Club

The College’s Senior Fellows Club is open to Fellows who have retired from active clinical practices. It also includes senior anaesthetists, dental surgeons, radiologists and pathologists.

The Club meets once monthly from October to June, usually in the College’s Symposium Hall and meetings start at 12 noon with an address given by an invited speaker, after which there is refreshments and a light lunch.

The cost of the lunch at this present time is £16.50 per person. There is also an annual subscription of £10. Members of the club are encouraged to bring spouses or partners as guests to all meetings, except our annual joint meeting with the Senior Fellows of the Royal College of Physicians. This exception has to be made because the facilities of the Symposium Hall are not large enough to accommodate the additional numbers.

If you would like to join the Senior Fellows Club, please contact Irene Macdonald, The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Nicolson Street, Edinburgh, EH8 9DW, email i.macdonald@rcsed.ac.uk.
